Schwerin Farms, Inc. is a multi-generation family farm. This 1,100 acre cattle ranch sits 5 miles north of Siloam Springs, AR.

Married in 1985, Dennis & Marlene have been ranching together ever since. Their shared passion for agriculture and raising their daughters on the ranch is the true legacy of Schwerin Farms, Inc.

Kaleb & Chrisie, along with their 2 sons, Paden & Paxton, live on the south side of the ranch. Kaleb & Chrisie truly believe in the future of agriculture and the future of Schwerin Farms, Inc. 

20-40 head of 500 pound steers and heifers are purchased each week. These cattle remain on the ranch until they reach 800 pounds (with the exception of locker beef cattle). They are then sent to feedlots in Oklahoma, Nebraska, or Kansas. S-F retains ownership and sells directly to the beef packers.

250 head of commercial cows with calves call S-F home. The herds calve 90 days in the spring or 90 days in the fall. These home-raised calves are backgrounded on the ranch. The heifers are put back into the herd or sold as replacements, while the steers are finished out in custom feedlots. 

In the 1990's, Dennis & Marlene purchased a registered Brangus pair. Their goal was to raise a breed of cattle Susie & Chrisie could show, but also a breed that would function in the cow herd. They have been raising Brangus cattle ever since.
